(John standing, Mark seated) Hampton Brothers Consulting was founded by two brothers, John, and Mark Hampton. Hampton Brothers Consulting, Inc.'s mission is to provide small to medium businesses with skills and experience in corporate methodologies and practices that can only be acquired by working inside some of the worlds largest corporations. John Hampton started his career as a Food Scientist for Kraft Foods. Joined afterwards by his brother Mark, an Agricultural Economist the brothers entered the world of commodities, based on an idea to improve the financial flexibility of American agribusiness. While at the Chicago Board Trade office of Cargill the brothers crafted a financial infrastructure, allowing for the first time in American history, a National Bank to transact hedge operations for banking customers. The success of this pioneering effort later led to the enabling of the same capability in an agricultural lending arm of the federal government. Both John and Mark gained additional corporate experience at organizations like IBM, and Sara Lee.
